Online or In-Person Consult

30-60 minutes: Free

The initial consult is to find out what your goals are and if I can help you meet those goals. The meeting is very informal and gives you an opportunity to really nail down your "why" you are ready for change. It also, gives you the client, time to meet with me and see if I'm the type of trainer you are looking for. Fitness is a never ending journey and you want your trainer/coach to be a person you can trust with your body and mind. 

Let's talk food!

60 minutes: $20

This is where many people are losing the weight, energy, and body composition battle. We can talk about this and find out where things are going wrong. I normally ask that you have a list of all medications, supplements, and a food diary of at least 4 days (including a weekend). I want to see everything you have put in your mouth for a minimum of 4 days, even if it's one almond or a half a bag of chips, you know, the big family size one, we've all done it! I'm not going to judge you! However, I am going to help you figure out what dietary changes you can implement so if you want to have a half a bag of chips one day you can! I, also, am going to help you understand why you will see the scale go up a pound the next day and why you shouldn't be defeated by that. 

Do not be anxious about your diet! Macros, micros, all the things are there to help the body function. You're not going on a "diet" you are on a "diet" you have been your entire life...this is what "diet" actually means: the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats (Oxford Languages Dictionary). I don't want you to go on a "diet" ...I want you to eat a diet that is inline with your goals.

Initial training session

60 minutes: $35

The first session we actually meet up in the gym, we are going to do some basic flexibility and strength tests (you don't have to study) to see where you are and to make sure we address any areas of pain or prior injuries. I will have a rough outline of your initial 3-6 week plan already set up and we will make changes as needed. The idea is that you will have 1 session with me where you do each exercise so I can ensure your form is good and your getting full Range of Motion (ROM) whilst decreasing the likelihood of sustaining injury. Together we will gauge your weight load and make sure your are not going too hard or too light on yourself. 

Ideally, we will meet for 2-4 sessions and then you won't need to see me again for 3-6 weeks until it's time to increase weight or vary your exercises to target more specific areas, or make any other adjustments.  You can see me more than that, but really 2 is the minimum I can do and ensure that you are getting what you need from me.

Follow-Up Session or Plan Adjustment

45 minutes: $30

The follow-up or plan adjustment sessions are to check your progress and determine if it's time to up the weight, change up the exercises, or add/remove something or make modifications due to irritation in performing a certain movement. I will usually ask that we have a session like this if you get injured taking your bike off a sweet jump or something like that. We can make sure you won't exacerbate the injury in the gym, and sometimes an injury calls for a complete overhaul of the training plan.  Or maybe, you've decided you want to enter the Highland Games and be a professional caber tosser, in which case, we may have to bring in a consultant, as I don't know much about throwing telephone poles. 

Most importantly, this is to keep you on your path, I am only here to help you hit those benchmarks along the way.
